Operator Petrochemicals (ENG)
You are responsible for operating temporary equipment to drain, fill, heat, circulate, clean, and dry petrochemical installations, among other tasks. Our operations are conducted according to a predetermined plan prepared by the work preparation department, including detailed work instructions that you diligently follow to achieve a safe and satisfactory result.
Your main tasks include:
- Monitoring and adjusting key process parameters such as temperature, pressure, concentration, and flow rate during operations
- Discussing progress and measured values with our clients' operators
- Setting up, connecting, disconnecting, and removing temporary installations such as piping, pumps, valves, hoses, heat exchangers, boilers, compressors, and circulation and storage tanks
Our work is specialized, so you will receive further internal training. Internal training will be supplemented with external courses such as SIR Chemical Technical Operator, working with respiratory protection, flange mounting, and various other required safety training.
What do you need?
- Experience in petrochemicals is preferred but not required
- A completed MBO education, such as VAPRO A or B, process technology, or Intermediate Laboratory Education level
- Valid driver's license B and own transport
- Possession of a valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Occasional willingness to work abroad
- Occasional willingness to stay away from home for the duration of a project
